Hi there! I’m Jamie, and if I’m being honest... I love animals more than humans most days. With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for everything from puppies to parrots—and even the occasional goat—I’ve built a life around making animals feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether you're headed out of town or just need a hand with your furry (or feathery, or scaly) family members, I'm here to make things easier for both you and your beloved creature friends. My goal? Zero stress for you, and tail wags, purrs, or chirps of joy for them. 🐶🐱🐥 Who I Care For: I care for all kinds of animal companions, including: Dogs (all ages & sizes) Cats (sassy to snuggly) Birds (my personal favorite!) Reptiles & Amphibians Rodents, Rabbits, Goats, Chickens... you name it! If they’re not human and you love them—I want to care for them. 🐕 Dog Experience: Puppies: potty training, basic commands, playtime! Seniors: medication, gentle physical therapy, stroller walks (yes, I have one!) Experience with dogs from 8–85 lbs and ages 2 months to 17 years 🐈 Cat Experience: Comfortable with all cat personalities (aloof, cuddly, spicy) Experience with elderly and sick cats, including medication administration 🐦 Bird Experience: Over 2 years of bird care experience Former bird rescuer & re-releaser (yep, I caught lost birds in buildings!) Passionate about bird behavior, feeding, handling, and enrichment 🦎 Amphibian & Reptile Experience: Experience with frogs, toads, turtles, and even an axolotl Open and eager to follow your specific care routines 🐾 Other Critters: I may not have decades of experience with rodents, bunnies, chickens, or goats—but I follow instructions to a T and learn fast. If you tell me what your animal needs, I’ll make sure it’s done right—with love and care. 💬 My Care Philosophy: Every animal is unique—and so is every pet parent. Had no reservations leaving my with Jamie. She was welcoming and clearly loves animals. Had regular updates and detailed messages. Would definitely recommend!
She went above and beyond, Nixon has some health and incontinence issues, we already made arrangements for Nixon to stay with her, but suddenly he had to stay at the vet. She offered to visit him at the vet. When he was ready to leave she picked him up and gave him great care untill we returned home
Our experience with Jamie was fantastic. This was our first time utilizing Rover services for our dog Ruby. Jamie sent pictures and updates each day. It was such a reassurance knowing Ruby was so well cared for and loved. I highly recommend Jamie!!
Jamie did fantastic plenty of pictures and communication. She treated my kittys like they were her kittys. We will definitely be useing her again to watch our kitty 10/10.

Jamie is such a GOLD/DIAMOND STAR sitter. I messaged her at 9PM about an emergency pick up because my current dog sitter was not taking a good care of my dog when I was out of town. We never work with each other before but she was so responsive and was ready to pick my dog up at 9AM the next day! Less than 12 hours of notice! She gave multiple updates with pictures and video throughout the day. I feel bad sometimes because I don’t even response to them as much as she send them! She asked for dietary restrictions, patient with my dog when she first met him. She even gave him food topper from her own! He is eating better than when he is with me! When I have a delay to return, she make sure that my dog is actually being put in a good hand and not with the old dog sitter who did not treat him right. I feel so safe to have my baby in her care because she has such a great heart. I would 100% work with Jamie again! Her price is so affordable for the quality of care that she provides!

Schedule
I’m currently not working and I’m ready to be there to play with your pups or other critters when you need me. I can generally respond to last minute requests if necessary, but appreciate as much of heads up as possible.

I have a fenced in yard, one small, elderly and kind of cranky dog, two cats, and three teenage humans (who all love animals as much as I do!). When it comes to caring for your pets in my home, I have to be a little more discerning as I have the needs of my own animal friends to consider. I can care for potty trained, non-dominant, non-aggressive, and very calm dogs and cats in my home. I can also care for caged or tanked creature friends in my home.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play a bunch of games and check out all the new smells in the neighborhood (for a dog it’s like reading a good book)! 🐶📖
