Hi! My name is Jamie, and I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I had a Labrador Retriever for 16 years, and I currently care for three dogs of my own: a German Shepherd, a Labrador, and a Beauceron. Living with multiple breeds—especially working and high-energy dogs—has given me strong experience with daily routines, exercise needs, and individualized care. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and completed a mentorship where I worked closely with a behavior specialist. Through that experience, I learned basic dog training and handling skills and am comfortable reinforcing commands such as sit, stay, down, leave it, drop it, and come. I focus on patience, consistency, and positive interactions to help dogs feel safe and confident. I truly believe every dog deserves attentive, compassionate care from someone who treats them like family. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or house sitting, I take the time to understand each dog’s needs and personality so they receive the best care possible. I’m also happy to help with house sitting and maintaining your dog’s regular routine while you’re away. When caring for pets, I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special needs. I take time to learn each pet’s personality so I can adjust my approach, whether they are energetic, shy, or need extra patience.

Jamie is very responsible with dogs and all pets. She grew up with her Labrador (Jake) and has helped me train our new German Shepard (K9). She has volunteered for two years at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and is a trained dog walker. She currently volunteers every Friday with them. Jamie is trustworthy and is a hard worker. She has a a calm and assertive demeanor with dogs and does not allow external situations to bring stress in to her interactions with animals. Every dog I have seen her with reacts very well to her. Jamie would make a good exercise companion for your dogs.
Jamie is a very caring individual. During the time I have known Jamie I have seen her love and excitement of dogs. She had has two beautifully dogs and the about of love and care she showed to then was amazing. To add to her love of dogs and animals she volunteers at the local animal shelter every Friday.
Jamie is a very loving and responsible dog owner. She always takes care of her animals and makes sure they have everything they need. If her companion ever needed anything in the world she would make sure they got it no matter what she needed to do. I would say she loves animals more than she loves humans. I would highly recommend her as a caretaker for any animal because she is very dependable.
Jamie is great with animals, she understands them and enjoys working with them. She loves dogs and wants any opportunity to spend more time around them. Jamie would be an excellent dog sitter because she is great with dogs and takes good care of them.

I am in college right now and on winter break. I am currently in college and available weekdays until mid January when my classes start again.
