Hi there! My name is Jamie and animals are the joy of life! I've had dogs and cats of my own for 20+ years, and also have 5 + years experience of dog walking & pet sitting for others as well. There's nothing more important than trusting someone to care for your "kids", whether it be a simple half hour visit, a long walk, or extended time away from their home, and my priority is to make sure that each dog and cat in my care is safe and loved, just as they would be in the care of their owners! I've always been an animal lover, so making pets as happy as can be is a skill that comes natural to me. My animal family currently includes my dog, Bear, and my two kitties, Cheez-it & Nacho. I've learned so much over the past year in my research and experience with Bear and have dedicated myself to her obedience and skills training, as her breed requires a significant amount of mental & physical stimulation. We also spend one evening a week training in dog agility classes and look forward to competing in the future!

When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet; this is a great way to make sure sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is of the utmost importance to me. Additionally, it gives us the opportunity to chat face to face about your pet and your care expectations. No one knows your pets better than you do, so I find it's best learning the in's and out's from the pet owners in person! It also gives me the opportunity to meet your pet in a setting that's comfortable to them with their best buddy around, and to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make new friends, and that we're going to have a great time together! I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pet, so communication is my number one priority - I'll be sure to send plenty of updates along with pictures and videos so you can see how much fun we're having together. I'm also happy to play with them using their favorite toys, and don't mind spending extra time for snuggle sessions while I'm there!

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and work from home, which allows me time at home with my "kids" as well the ability to pursue other projects and hobbies.

- During our meet and greet time, we'll discuss in depth your expectations as well as any important details that I should be aware of in order for your pet and I to have the best time together! Please be sure to inform me if your dog or cat has any specific behaviors that I should know about ahead of time, or any “must do’s" or “must not’s”. My goal is to create the most enjoyable experience!
