I work from home, so I will be home with your pets most of the time for overnight stays as long as I have internet access! My work schedule is often pretty flexible.

Happy to provide all the playtime and snuggles they might want! Will generally keep dogs away from other dogs unless you expressly tell me they enjoy meeting strangers. For cats, I like to give them their space at first so they can decide on their own that they want my attention; I’m thrilled when they decide to trust me and take treats and/or pets.

Please let me know if your pet has any particular needs or idiosyncrasies—I want to make them as comfortable as possible. For instance, are they afraid of storms? Are they allowed in the bed/on your furniture? I’ve even known dogs that are terrified of bare feet! I’d rather get too much information than too little.

I try to stick with your pets’ established routine as much as possible. If they like to spend their days napping, we’ll nap it up; if they love to go to coffee shop patios and meet people, I’m happy to take them on a field trip! Please note that I avoid dog parks if at all possible. There are so many variables that can go sideways, and I just want to keep everyone safe.

I have always had pets—cats, dogs, fish, rats, birds, and even snails. I have cared for animals of all ages and types of needs but am particularly well-versed in senior care, including medication , subQ fluids, and special comfort for dementia/arthritis. In terms of non-furry pets, I’m an aquarium enthusiast (freshwater) and happy to care for your fish, shrimp, and snails while you’re away; I know the signs to look for in terms of fish illnesses or tank imbalance and will keep you up to date while you’re gone.

Jamie is great! She’s communicative, reliable and trustworthy. She did a wonderful job with my dog, they walked and played- he had a great time. Highly recommend!
Jamie was amazing! She is emotionally intelligent and kind. I felt confident that my pets were safe while I was away. Daily updates showed me how caring she is with my animals. She became part of our pack for sure!
Jaime was fantastic! She sent so many photos and updates of the pups which made me so happy. She took great care with medications for our older dog as well. When we got home the house was spotless too. Can’t recommend her enough!
Asher loves his time with Jamie! She always takes great care of him.
