Hi! I'm Jamie and I recently moved to Richmond for my AmeriCorps year of Service. As such, I have a 9-5 job, but can stop by to check on your pet during my lunch break (or more frequently depending on location) and am available for walks during the morning or evenings.

I believe that you know what keeps your animal safe and therefore follow any rules and guidelines you set out. Additionally, I always keep my phone charged and on me while walking dogs, in case of emergency, and ensure that they stay out of the way of cars. For boarding, I have my own apartment located in a pet friendly apartment complex with a dog park. I can take your dog on walks before and after work and would come home mid-day to check on them.

I like to know what your pet's likes and dislikes are. Additionally, I need to know how they react to other animals or children. For petsitting, please tell me any house rules I should know about as well! For example, if there's a allergen I should make sure I don't bring in.
A typical day
I treat each pet individually based on their typical schedule and personality. At our Meet & Greet, we'll go over your typical routine with your pet and I will do my best to stick to that with them.

I've taken care of pets for my family and friends since I was a kid. I love taking dogs on walks to stay active and attended training classes for my pet when I was a child. I have taken classes on animal behavior in the past.

Jamie kept us well informed on how the housesit was going with our boy! We came back to a tidy house and very happy dog. So glad to have someone caring take care of our fur baby while we were gone.
