Every session starts with creating a bond with your dog. I believe trust is essential, so I prioritize getting to know your pup and earning their comfort. While some dogs may warm up quickly, I bring a patient and understanding approach to every interaction. Once we've established a connection, I focus on fulfilling your dog's needs in a fun and interactive way. This includes ensuring all their basic needs are met – think walks, food, and water – while also incorporating playtime, mental stimulation, and of course, cuddles! To personalize each pet-sitting experience, I begin by learning more about your dog, their home, and you! We'll have a conversation about breed, age, medical history, their daily routine, any training progress or specific needs they have, and of course, their favorite things! This collaborative approach ensures we cater to your dog's unique personality and create an enjoyable experience.
A typical day
Every dog is unique! We'll discuss your pup's breed, comfort level, and individual preferences to create a customized activity plan. Whether your furry friend enjoys extended sniffing adventures, brain-teasing games, or some focused training, we can make it happen. My goal is to ensure each session provides the perfect blend of fun and engagement for your dog. If your dog enjoys hiking or extra-long walks, I am your sitter. :) *** Please note housesitting includes all necessary walks for your pup. Whether it be 0-4 walks per day, I’ll make sure they have plenty physical and mental stimulation.

Pet care experience
My journey in animal care began with professionally socializing service dogs, particularly with large breed puppies. This role provided invaluable experience in building confidence and social skills in young pups. I then transitioned to the training team at a local animal rescue, where I developed my skills by working with a variety of temperaments, including timid, anxious, and reactive dogs. These diverse experiences have equipped me to confidently handle most canine personalities. While I am particularly drawn to working breeds due to their intelligence and drive, I treat each dog as if they were my own - like a family member. Building positive connections with pups brings me immense satisfaction, and I strive to continue fostering these bonds during each pet-sitting experience.
