I have always loved animals and grew up with many large dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, and a snake! I have had dogs my whole life (ranging from small to large), I have puppy trained six Guide Dogs for the Blind (from 8 weeks to a year and a half), and I currently have the best puppy friend you dog could ask for! I am capable with all types of collars (flat collar, gentle leader, halti, front and back lead harnesses, prong collar, e-collar, etc). My current dog went blind in May of 2026, and so I am newly skilled in working with blind dogs. I can train/reward with praise, treats, or clicks. I have clicker trained multiple dogs. My schedule is very open and I am happy to accommodate different needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved one!

I take care of food, water, and medication needs in the home. I can also provide enrichment activities for pets staying inside the home during visits.

Jamie did a fantastic job with Archimedes (my pup) and Eclipse (my cat)! She's a great communicator and worked well with my new dog. Even though it was a short stay, I got photos of the visit, which is a really nice touch. Would hire again for sure!
I have known Jamie for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, I have always known her to be an animal lover, especially with dogs. She has always been gentle, kind and patient with any dog I've seen her interact with. Jamie lived with me and my husband for 6 months earlier this year and often dog/ puppy sat our two dogs - Flynn (3 year old corgi/ pomeranian) and Penny (now 7 month old golden/ lab). Flynn was a rescue and has some "issues" (separation anxiety, strong herding tendencies) but Jamie has always been amazing with him. Jamie was also living with us when we got our 8 week old golden/ lab mix, Penny. Jamie puppy sat for us on multiple occasions and not once did I ever worry. She is highly competent in training techniques as well - she helped us quite a bit in our early training with Penny. I have also seen Jamie interact with her own dogs - Dozer and Ray. She is a caring, loving and dedicated pet owner who always puts her dogs' well-being first. In short, Jamie is a wonderful fur mama as well as caretaker. I would never doubt her ability to care for any dog she would come into contact with and would trust her with my pups' lives. I highly recommend Jamie for a job with Rover - she would be an amazing asset!
My 70 lbs 3 year old mutt, Scout, loves Jamie! My dog is sweet but very high energy and Jamie never has difficulty keeping up. Jamie has dog sat Scout at our house, picked up Scout for play dates, taken her on hikes, etc. Jamie not only enjoys the company of all dogs I've seen her with, but she also has a strong knowledge of how to train dogs and encourage good behavior. I strongly recommend her for any dog walking, dog sitting, whatever you need.

Schedule
I am currently taking leave to care for my dog's medical needs, so I am working from home and love to spend a good chunk of the day out walking.
