I’ve been working with dogs for over 7 years, providing one-to-one walks and building strong, calm relationships with each dog I care for. During that time I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, including those that are nervous, reactive, high-energy, or just need a bit more understanding and patience. My approach has always been simple — no force, no harsh corrections, just calm, consistent handling and taking the time to understand the dog in front of me. I focus on building trust and creating a safe, relaxed environment where dogs can feel comfortable. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I adapt my approach depending on what each individual dog needs. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve had my own dog by my side for many years. He’s taught me a lot about behaviour, patience, and the importance of building a genuine connection.

When caring for pets in someone’s home, I always treat both the dog and the home with the same level of respect and care I would expect for my own. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, needs, and any specific instructions, so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible for them. My approach is always calm and patient. I avoid rushing, and I make sure dogs feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I’m confident handling different temperaments, including dogs that may be nervous or need a bit more space and understanding. Safety is always a priority — whether that’s secure handling on walks, making sure doors and gates are properly managed, or simply being aware of the dog’s behaviour and surroundings at all times. I aim to provide a relaxed, reliable presence so both the dog and owner can feel at ease.

Jamie has been our regular dog walker and sitter for over 4 years. He always takes the trouble to walk our dog in different places ensuring both stimulation and fun. He is very experienced with rescue dogs and dogs who need that extra care and attention. His primary concern is for the welfare and care of animals. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my days around providing calm, one-to-one care, so each dog gets my full attention without being rushed. I’m used to planning my time carefully and working independently, which allows me to be reliable and consistent. I’m available most mornings and early afternoons during the week, with some flexibility depending on the day, and I can also offer occasional weekend availability. I always make sure I have enough time for each walk or visit, so dogs are never rushed and can settle into a calm, relaxed routine.
