We do have pets of our own and often have dogs or cats from other families visiting so we require meet and greets to ensure that the visiting pets and their owners feel more comfortable when they come to stay. Things that are helpful to know are favorite activities, allowed treats, and what behaviors to anticipate. Any tips on how to best help them acclimate to new people and the new environment. Also, because of different dogs/cats from other families we require updated and current vaccination records prior to the booking being confirmed - rabies, distemper/parvo, leptospirosis, and bordetella/parainfluenza. We try to anticipate any needs that your pet may need while their are here so we provide bowls of all shapes and materials that are assigned for only your pet during their stay. After their stay is completed the bowls are washed, disinfected, and sanitized. We provide a variety of beds and blankets. We do have crates available but prefer not to use them unless you as the pet parent specifically requests that. We prefer to utilize pet gates for feeding times and when a pet seems overstimulated or overwhelmed and needs some time to relax alone.

We always have a variety of toys and take our dog out for walks when the weather permits. Our fully fenced backyard shade and sprinklers for those hot days. Outside times are closely monitored and we use this as an opportunity to play and interact more with all the dogs. We also have lovely walking trails near our home.
