I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each animal’s unique personality. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for dogs and other animals, giving me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, administering basic care, and providing plenty of love and attention. In addition to being a lifelong pet owner, I have experience pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether it’s an energetic puppy who loves long walks, a senior dog who prefers a slower pace, or a shy pet who needs extra patience and comfort. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owner is away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and reliable care. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furry family member, and I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate service and regular updates for your peace of mind.

I've known Jamie for over ten years and he has looked after many of my animals during that period. He has a natural love for all creatures, but I've particularly noticed how he connects with dogs. He has been wonderful in situations where a dog has been unexpectedly sick, handling the situation very calmly and having good instincts for how to administer care. Jamie is also a lovely guy to deal with interpersonally - he's very warm, friendly and reliable and a good communicator. I would absolutely trust Jamie to look after any furry friend!
Jamie looked after my whippet, Peanut, and I couldn't have been happier with the care he provided. Peanut was well looked after, happy, and clearly felt comfortable with Jamie. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine because I currently have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to dedicate my time and attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship. I’m available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and can accommodate a variety of schedules. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to rather than just another task.

I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My priority is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll carefully follow all of your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special care your pet requires. I treat every home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I’ll make sure doors and gates are always secure, keep a close eye on your pet during walks and outdoor time, and prioritize their safety at all times. I also believe communication is key, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pet with the same love, attention, and care I would give my own.
