I have worked in pet care/home care for over a decade! I work as a dog walker for a company in Berryville, and I also work as a groomer for a Newfoundland Breeder with show dogs. I have had experience as a vet technician as well! I am comfortable will all types of dogs and would love to meet yours❤️ I provide daily dog walking services and breaks, in home boarding or house sitting. Dog walking and pet care is more then simply providing the basics, I appreciate the trust that owners give when having someone provide care for there beloved animals. Respect, genuine love, trust and a building relationship goes into each pet a care for.

Amazing! Jamie is one of the best sitters we’ve ever used. Before she even got to the house, she was very patient with our changing travel plans, which had honestly become a bit of a nightmare as work constraints evolved and our dates kept shifting. We had her stay with our two dogs and small flock of chickens - a bit on the unusual side of Rover bookings. One of our dogs is a very timid rescue and the other is a slightly crazy young blue heeler mix, so they have very different personalities and needs. Jamie was wonderful with both - she had the timid one eating and letting her get near within the first few hours; normally this is a 2-3 day process! She seemed to have great intuition about dog behavior and knew exactly what to do to gain his trust. The active heeler didn’t seem to throw her at all either, and both pups were quite happy and healthy when we got back. In addition to being a superb canine communicator, Jamie was also a great human communicator and was proactive with reaching out to our additional contact when a question came up and it was the middle of the night where we were. I felt like she was on top of absolutely everything and had no anxiety about her ability to handle any dog/house/chicken things that might occur while we were away. To top it off, we came back to a clean house that was exactly as we left it - she even washed the sheets and remade the bed, which was extremely appreciated after getting back from overseas and quickly turning to back-to-school mode. We will definitely call Jamie the next time we need a sitter!
Very responsive, pleasant to interact with, sent videos, on time for drop off. I hope to use her services again next time I'm in town!

Jamie was very good and very responsible. My two shepherds were a little difficult to handle and she found that out at our meet and greet. Instead of turning the assignment down she helped come to a solution were both her and the dogs were comfortable with the feedings. The price was reasonable and I hope she will accept future accept future requests. Thank you Jamief

Schedule
Pet care is full time for me, and I am available weekly and in the weekends. My schedule is generally flexible and I can usually accommodate even last min requests. However I do occasionally have a fully scheduled week and any house sitting or dog sitting requests would be easier to schedule with a couple weeks notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but I provide walks and potty breaks by walking on a leash as needed. I live close to 2 dog park’s and I love to take them there to burn off energy ( as long as dog parks are not an overwhelming experience and the owner agrees it is ok to visit one ), I also enjoy bringing them along as a running and hiking buddy on the several nature trails near me. If I am watching a pet in their own home, I will just keep up with the normal routine as stated by the owner, and of course always check with you to make sure any new activities we try are ok

A typical day
If dogs could talk, I would like to send them home saying “When can I go back!?”. Each dog is different with the things they enjoy. My higher energy social pups I love taking on hikes, jogs around the neighborhood, perhaps the dog parks. I live near a shallow river/ stream where we can cook off or splash around in. For my quiet homebody guys, they are welcome to spread out on couches beds or floor mats to relax and get lots of belly rubs!

- To make sure I have everything thing ready to provide the best experience, it’s good to know certain things about your good boy or girl! How are they with another dogs ( I will only have 3 max at a time) What their daily routine is like Anything to be aware of such as mannerisms, or if they have any certain “triggers” to avoid What activities they like We do a lot of leash walking, so if to avoid other dogs on a leash, or just to be aware of any sudden pulling if they see a rabbit or car, etc Dietary info or restrictions
