Experienced Patient Care for Pets
Pet care experience
I grew up volunteering at pet shops, watching dog videos as a favorite past time (still do) and petsitting for friends all my life. I currently live with a senior dog and play/take care of her most days also! I have a natural knack for connecting with even the most timid, grumpy or anxious animals quickly. I like to approach pets respectfully and gently, bonding at their pace so they feel safe and settled easily. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and bunnies week+ at a time. I currently live with a 9yo dog, so I have a soft spot for senior dogs. I am often the person who walks and cares for the dog throughout the week because I work remotely. Walks should be paced by the dog’s desired pace w lot of sniffing, time at home should feel safe and calm (w occasional fun w toys of course) and you should be communicated to feel anxious-free comfortable while you are away from your pet!

Reviews

We had Jamie sit with our dog amd cat for a week. She was able to care for our cat who requires regular insulin and was awesome with our dog. She was simply terrific. Was responsive with pictures and updates. Would hire again amd highly recommend.

Jamie was simply wonderful. She provided great house and pet sitting services, and I felt so comfortable using her as a great resource. My animals loved her and I fully expect to use her again in the future.

Jamie was an outstanding pet/housesitter who lovingly cared for our anxious poodle mix, rabbit, and lizards for over a week (even extending her stay when we were unable to get home because of a blizzard)! She provided regular updates, reached out when she had questions, and kept the house in perfect condition. We feel very fortunate to have found her and will definitely use her again!

Jamie is wonderful!! She is very kind, reliable, and professional. It’s such a relief to know that someone will take as great care of your pet as you do, and that’s what Jamie demonstrated. I will definitely use her again and can’t recommend her enough!
