Help for Seniors....Help for all.
I have recently become aware of a need for senior humans to have help taking care of their furry family. I am offering drop in services for daily maintenance tasks such as waste removal, walks, vet visits, supplies pick up, and in some instances minor human care ie: taking out the trash, dishes, other small household chores. I want seniors to be able to keep their families in tact. As for experience.....I have owned 7 dogs, 5 cats, 4 parakeets, 3 finches, 2 horses, 7 chickens, 2 market swine, 8 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 1 ball python, and a plethora of fish. I have ben a Houston Zoological Gardens and Oregon Zoo volunteer. I have volunteered for therapy riding Programs SIRE and Forward Stride. I worked as a vet tech in high school where I assisted in surgeries, took blood draws, administered medication, and cleaned kennels. I graduated from Oregon Farrier School in 2011. I was a Hold and Test tech at Sam Houston Race Park where I took urine and blood samples from race horses. There is no animal care situation that I am not capable of managing. Whatever your need is, I can make it happen.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer in home (my home) care at the moment. There is a possibility for dog/cat friendly dogs. I can offer drop in care any day of the week and generally speaking, any time frame.

Jamie did a great job! The animals were well taken care of as was the house. We got lots of pictures and communication.
I'm so happy Jamie has now listed with Rover. She has cared for my dog and cat a handful of times now. I originally connected with her through a friend of a friend. My dog has become friends with her, which is great because she's part Pyrenees and a bit standofish. Jamie loves all animals! In one conversation with her she told me that she volunteered at the Houston Zoo for a couple of summers when she was young. She has personal experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, and even a snake! So if you have many types of pets you'll be happy with choosing Jamie as a sitter! Think about her if you have horses too!
hello, my name is Clark Smith and Jamie and I are really good friends. I’ve known Jamie for over 25 years and can honestly say I’ve never met a person that puts their pets first like she does. She and her daughter have been some of the most caring and responsible pet owners that I’ve ever met here. Their menagerie has consisted of not only dogs, cats, birds,rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes (and any other rodent you can think of), chickens, pigs and probably a couple I missed. my grandkids have actually gone over to her place to work with their pets with Jamie and her daughter. If we’ve ever had a concern, question or situation involving an animal, they were the go to people!

Schedule
I am currently waiting tables in the evenings (4), home schooling my daughter, and taking care of an aging aunt. All of these obligations allow flexibility when it comes to helping others.
