care giver with a forever dog home
I was a dog owner for 15 years; she passed away about 3 years ago. Her beds are so big and comfy I didn't want to throw them away. I had proclaimed this to be a forever dog home! Since then, I began dog sitting for friends from my church. I knew if a dog came over, I would want it to be comfortable. I enjoy learning each dog's personality and needs because all dogs are different. My friend's dog doesn't like to be pet but loves to sit next to me. I learned that different dogs have different needs and wants. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs through walks, companionship, and learning each dog's unique personality and needs. Some dogs love affection while others prefer quiet company, and I respect and adjust to what makes each dog most comfortable. Dog sitting allows me to provide attentive, loving care while giving dogs a calm and supportive environment.

Our experience with Ms. Jami and her mom was WONDERFUL. Our doggy Yoddah acclimated to her and her welcoming home immediately at our meet and greet. Jami was assuring, VERY nice and accommodating to our extended need for dog sitting! Jami sent pictures and a video showing Yoddah comfortable and happy! Our dog was pampered and enjoyed his stay. We will definitely be rebooking in the near future. We wish we could give 10 ⭐️'s❣️ Highly recommended. -theBookmans

As usual, Jami & Frances were fantastic! My dog Murphy is pretty much a regular with them. They love him and treat him like family every time he stays with them. Communication is always clear and timely and I couldn't ask for a better sitter. They are simply wonderful.

Schedule
I am working but I make my own schedule. I would take care of your baby just like my own, We would go for a walk at least twice a day. Ill feed once or twice a day, depending on instructions. My mom {Frances} lives right next door, and she is my emergency contact. She loves dogs too. She is a great help if I need to step out for a minute. I do enjoy seeing the dog happy and comfortable, the rest of the day will consist of making that happen. Your pet will get a one on one experience. I will care your pet just like I would do my own. Again, a home away from home.

Safety, trust & environment
When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is take my fur buddy outside. Next is breakfast and play time if it's preferred. I look for direction from the owner on specific things to know and look for to make my fur buddy comfortable. Safety is #1. Every decision is made with safety first in mind. Second is satisfaction for the pet and the owner.
A typical day
When I walk a dog it's for them it's not really my time. It's their time to be outside and sniff away. I like to take them for a longer walk early in the day and then throughout the day shorter walks two to three times that day and especially right before we go to bed. If my fur buddy has a favorite toy, it's a must to play! Sometimes we sit on the couch and watch TV!

- My main thing is for the owner to make sure that the dog doesn't have fleas. Please be honest with me about that. I keep dog flea shampoo, and I can treat a dog for fleas if need be. Please don't be shy to let me know if your dog doesn't like to be pet or cuddled that's no problem, I like to know these things so I can make sure that I'm catering to that dog's needs. It doesn't bother me if a dog doesn't like to be pet that's that dog's personality. I don't know what that dog has been through. If there is anything you think I need to know, please tell me. I do like to give dogs their space and love them at the same time. Let me know of any allergies your dog may have. We give out snacks around here.
