I've loved every animal I've met.
Every dog and cat I've ever met I will cherish forever and holds a small corner of my heart and soul. I grew up in the Caribbean befriending and feeding strays - some of which become beloved family members living full and rich lives. I spent summer of 2022 taking care of (and being taken care of by) a film director's dog who I then got to drive from Toronto to Los Angeles, back to his mum. Working in the film industry has required known and unknown sacrifices - but the most painful has been the time with dogs it has taken from me. My partner fears that I love dogs more than I do her.

NOTE: Upstairs neighbors are 4/20 friendly and smell can sometimes travel to my apartment. Actual apartment is smoke free. I currently work freelance in the film industry (unionized), with contracts taking shape as months "on" with weeks to months "off" where I nurture my life outside of film. I am hoping to dedicate my next time "off" to building sitting / walking experiences through Rover, and dogs will take priority.

Jamey was incredible with our dog Coco! Jamey will update us before and after every walk, meals and in between! Coco was behave more than usual which we appreciate after a very long travel home. Would definitely have Jamey take care of Coco if ever needed!
Jamey is easily the best possible person to take care of your dog! He's responsible, punctual, communicative, and extremely caring. He'll fawn over your pet like it's his own and will make sure they have the best time. He's attentive and very well-versed in training, grooming, and socializing. Can't recommend him more!

Schedule
A six day road trip passing pets/scratches or a brief moment of eye contact: I've loved every dog I've ever been blessed to meet. I cherish the moments we share and they have panted, sniffed and left their spiritual paw prints on the parts of myself that I love the most. I'm hoping to build time, patience, care and experience with dogs through Rover as I strive to cultivate a life with ample real estate for animals - from moving to fostering to eventually having a dog of my own, once I'm sure I can commit to it everything they deserve.
