I’m the pet parent of all the furry kids in my care, and I make sure they’re well-fed and taken for daily walks. I also try to squeeze in a long walk or hike with them every week. My job is super flexible, so I can always work around my Rover friends’ schedules!

Meet Bear, my furry friend! He’s a total sweetheart and loves everyone he meets, including dogs, humans, and cats. He’s a real superstar! Miso was rescued from a breeder who abandoned her in a warehouse, and is still getting used to her new life and home. She’s sensitive and can be a bit vocal around new people or places, but don’t worry, she’s all bark and no bite.
A typical day
I make sure to take my furry friends on at least one long hike every week. Our local go-to trails are Mori Point, Pacifica Quarry, Milagra Ridge, Sweeney Ridge, Fort Funston, Pulgas Ridge, Sharp Park Beach, Seal Point in San Mateo, and the new trail/dog park at Oyster Point. I also practice daily obedience training and reinforcement with my pups. And of course, I always have plenty of healthy treats on hand!

Pet care experience
I’ve always been a big dog & cat person, so I’ve taken on the lead role of caring for our family pets. For the past four years, I’ve been the head trainer and caretaker of our growing pack. I even guided my oldest pup, Bear, through all the levels of Zoom Room Belmont obedience training. And guess what? He passed AKC’s “Good Canine Citizen” test! In time, we added Jasmine, also known as Jazzy (cat), Potato, or Tayto (cat), and Miso, our rescue Shar Pei dog.
