I’m a freelance designer, so as long as the house has a desk or a quiet spot to work, I can comfortably work from your home during bookings, meaning your dog or cat always has someone around. Alternatively I typically rent a workspace in Wooburn so for local bookings I’m very close by and can return at lunch for food and walks. For longer bookings (over two weeks), I may need to travel into London for a day but I can work around this if needed, just let me know your needs. Overall I always make sure the dog’s routine, care, and company are fully covered around that.

A typical day
I start with a good morning walk and breakfast before I begin work at 9am. I’m a freelancer, so my lunch break is flexible, meaning I can work it around your dog’s routine rather than the other way round. Evening walks are usually around 7pm, with a final quick walk before bed. Weekends: Park time, a coffee shop visit, or whatever your dog normally enjoys, just tell me their usual schedule and I’ll follow it so everything feels familiar and relaxed for them.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs and have years of hands-on experience, including raising my own from a puppy. He’s currently in Spain with my family, so whilst I’m a dog owner I won’t be bringing a dog with me to any bookings. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and temperaments and can help with basic training, routine, and structure if needed. I genuinely love being around dogs from walks and play to relaxed downtime. I split my time between Spain and the UK, and while I’m here I’m fully available for house sitting and drops ins. But unfortunately can’t host. My approach is calm, friendly, and patient, making sure your dog feels safe and settled while you’re away.

Fantastic. Pluto loved James! Pluto was a little unsure at first(as he’s with most people) but warmed up to James really quickly! The photos received showed Pluto looking really relaxed and it put my mind at rest! Would definitely book again! James went above and beyond and even walked Pluto too!
James has looked after my dog, Bracken, several times now. He’s a solid lad who knows how to handle a dog.He always turned up on time, kept me updated and took the dog out for a good, honest run. Reliable, respectful and clearly someone who understands dogs, not just pets. I’d trust him with Bracken any day.
James regularly looked after our dog, Luna in New York and she adored him. You can tell he genuinely loves dogs and she would always ran straight to him. He was reliable, easy to communicate with and kept us updated with photos.
