I ran a successful dog walking and sitting business for three years, offering premium care to many regular clients. Alongside this, I’ve been the primary caregiver for my family’s dog and cat for nearly my whole life, managing three dogs and one cat. I did not intend to leave a review for James, but since he left feedback for me, here we go. You get one star for not killing my dog. Lesson learned, don’t rely on sitter’s profiles. James left my dog with his roommate who was apparently running errands for hours. In all honesty I have no idea where my dog was or who my dog was with all day. So if you’re looking for James to watch your dog with expert pet care and a safe and secure environment in his “house”, look elsewhere. He lives in an apartment with a balcony which is also not disclosed. His whole profile is misleading. Extremely disappointed in myself for choosing you. I question the attentiveness as well because I smell 420. You suck at pet sitting! Sorry. But again thanks for letting your roommate return my dog in one piece.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I dropped my dog off to James’s room mate. He met me outside. My dog is healthy and has minor arthritis in two legs. They kept her for three nights. Before I came to grab her at the set time, James asked if I can grab her an hour earlier which I thought was weird. I came at the time I paid for. My dog came running up to me limping. I asked them what happened and he told me “i noticed it last night but didn’t think anything of it since she has arthritis.” I told him he should have contacted me immediately. I took her home and she was crying in pain and walked into my house, laid on the floor and didn’t move. I had contacted James and he said nothing else had happened; which I don’t believe. I had to take her to the vet and was told she needs anti-inflammatory and pain meds bc it seemed like she sprained something or agitated her leg. I need to take her for X-rays now and spent 250 and spending another 600 because of this. This is insane. Don’t ever let him watch your dog. Period.
James took very good care of my friend Rosie. I was a little worried because it was her first extended stay with someone else and Rosie is bonded to me, but after seeing how close Rosie got to him at the end of her stay, I can say that I made the perfect choice. James communicated very well, and I received updates and pictures during our time apart. I definitely recommend him for anyone looking for an experienced sitter. He went above and beyond to make sure Rosie had a great experience. Thank you very much James!
James is reliable and communicative. We trust that our pup was given excellent care while we were unable to care for her. We have used James’ dog day care services a few times now, and we look forward to future occasions in which James is a part of our pup-care circle. Thank you, James!!
