Vets Choice Award - 2026 T-Dog 200
A decade plus of canine and feline care experience. I have ample exposure to large dogs, high energy dogs, and dogs with special care requirements. My working history includes multiple years volunteering at an animal shelter, multiple years at the Denali National Park Sled Dog Kennel, and a year at an Iditarod Kennel here in Fairbanks. This past winter, I both won the T-Dog 200 Sled Dog Race and more importantly was awarded the Vets Choice Award for exemplary dog care and health. I take pride in making sure every pet I work with gets to have a safe, fun, and fulfilling stay!

I believe in taking care of every pet as an individual. There’s no one way to do it. I’d like to know your pet and be as accommodating to their needs as possible!

James cared for my animals while I was on vacation sbd I think they like him more than me now!!! He kept them active and well fed and groomed. It is obvious that he understands them and can read their behaviors well. I could watch his interactions with them on camera and never once was there any hiccups . The dogs were super happy to see him and get cuddles ! I recommend him to everybody I know now .
I can’t recommend James enough! He took amazing care of my highly anxious retired sled dog and truly went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. He was incredibly patient with her and made sure she got all the attention and care she needed. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands and would absolutely trust James with her again!

Schedule
I work full time at a nature preserve here in Fairbanks so I am at work from 9-5, M-F. However I am free outside of these hours.
