Hi, I’m James. My wife Heather and I love animals and having both grown up living with an array of pets, dogs, cats, birds (ducks&chickens, budgies) Lizards and tortoises. All companions are loved and admired. Resultantly, from our vast experiences, with different kinds of companions and personalities, we can recognise behavioural traits and understand what it is your boy(s) or girl(s) want / need. We had our own girl (Ellie, as seen in the pictures) unfortunately illness took her so we no other animals at home. So your furry friends will have our undivided attention. Heather, is home all day and we have access to a garden. We live less than 20ft from the sea so your furry friends will have the beauty of the sea to enjoy on walks as part of their daily routine when staying. We look forward to be able to look after your beloved family members.

James and Heather were fantastic! Grace loved them and loved her stay there. They sent me updates, photos and videos and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve seen Grace so happy with a border. I highly recommend them (although I didn’t want to as I want to keep them all for myself!) 🤣
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Heather & James – Outstanding Dog Sitters Heather and James recently looked after our cocker spaniel Myla for 11 days, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine love for dogs shone through from day one. We were kept fully updated throughout our trip with thoughtful messages and video summaries of Myla’s day. One evening they wrote to us explaining that the temperature had stayed in the high 20s, so instead of an evening walk they kept her cool, comfortable, and mentally stimulated with enrichment puzzles — exactly the kind of care you hope someone would give your dog when you’re not there. They always made decisions with Myla’s wellbeing at the centre, and it gave us complete peace of mind. The communication was brilliant, friendly, and full of personality — even cheering on England during the football. It genuinely felt like Myla was part of their family while we were away. We were absolutely over the moon with the service. Heather and James went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and truly exceptional dog sitters. We’ll definitely be booking again.
James cares for my Dachshund regularly, either daycare or out walking. James has always shown a calm loving manner towards Barnaby. Barnaby is always please to see James and happy to be cared for by him.

Schedule
Heather is free and at home all week and able to provide the daily care your friend deserves. Daily walk, ATTENTION, food and drink. However, I return from work approximately 6pm (Tuesday-Saturday) when we would then go for an evening walk before dinner and bed.

We believe it is important to build trust with your furry friend by joining in with them with the activities they love. The atmosphere within our home is very relaxed. We believe that our furry friends need a strong routine and a loving environment to thrive. We have an array of both physical and mental stimulating toys so they’ll never be bored.
A typical day
We love to ensure that your friend is both physically and mentally stimulated and feel safe to relax when they are ready to do so. Daily walks lots of wholesome playtime and a place to chill.
