Please let me know if your pet needs any medications, has any special needs, or any behaviors that may seem odd or concerning, but are actually normal for your fur-baby.
A typical day
Your cat(s) and I will have a wonderful time doing whatever it is your cat(s) likes to do! Need some active play time? We'll go on a grand hunt for the flying feather toy, or elusive red (laser) dot! Need some warm attention and cuddles? My lap and shoulder are open, and I know just where to scratch! Your cat needs someone to stare menacingly at from a high perch? I get it. Sometimes they just need their space. You are trying to harness/leash train your cat for safe, outdoor exploration? I can help with that too.

Pet care experience
Experienced cat aficionado. $1 of my daily rate goes to a local animal shelter (Red Door or Tree House)! I've had family cats or cats of my own for most of my life, from kittens to senior. I currently have two young kitty family members. I know cat signals and behaviors and find them to be an absolute joy! I am happy to give your cat(s) all the attention they desire, through play, pets, exercise, or a lap to sleep on. Even the most anti-social cats tend to tolerate my existence. :) I've lived with dogs and rabbits previously, whom I occasionally cared for during housemate vacations or times away. I do not offer canine services on Rover. I have some experience feeding and giving oral medications to other animals including reptiles, rats, sugar gliders, and birds. One of my first priorities upon entering a home with a pet is to introduce myself to them, because not only do you have to trust me, but your pet(s) has to trust me too. I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable so they can be themselves - play, snuggle, whatever your pet likes to do. For cats, I like to get on their level, on the ground, even sometimes rolling over on my back, signaling that I am not a threat. I let them approach me at their leisure, and I'll extend a soft hand for them to sniff. By understanding cat behavior and their signals, I aim to become a trusted source of play, pets, food, and safety for your furry loved ones.

James was a wonderful cat sitter. He took great care of my two kitties and was very communicative through out the whole process.
