Stay at home Dad!
Growing up my family always had animals in our household from dogs and cats to birds and tortoises. I love all animals but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I had a dog named Charlie, up until very recently, who was my best friend and companion. He was by my side every day since I found him wondering the streets roughly 12 years ago up until he sadly passed away earlier this year. My wife and I decided to hold off on getting a new dog until our kids get a little older and can be responsible for all aspect of care for a dog but in the meantime I’ve been missing having a pup around. I’ve been a stay at home dad for the past 6 years and now that both my kids are in school all day I have extra time in my day to spend with a pup or two! I currently take my kids to school M-F at 8:30am and pick them up at 3pm. I am completely free from roughly 9am-2:15pm but if someone needed their pet watched later than 2:15pm I would gladly take their pup along with me to pick up the kids. I have a harness with seat belt loop I used to take Charlie with me before and it worked perfectly. Weekends are usually wide open and there would be 2 kiddos to gladly play and help me care for your dog. I have a fenced in yard with a latched gate as well as a doggie door big enough for a roughly 20lb dog, maybe bigger. My house is very dog friendly and has plenty of room to run around,

Presto was anxious to get in the car when he saw I had packed up his things and loaded them in the back seat -- he loves going to visit James. Always well taken care of and loved.
When Presto realizes I am taking a trip he starts heading for the car every time I stand up. When we are on our way to James's house he bounces up and down on the car seat and goes straight to the door as soon as I let him out of the car. So must really like spending time at their house. Can't think of a better recommendation.
Presto is always happy to stay with James and his family. I know he will be well taken care of, and get lots of playtime with James' two children. Thanks for making him comfortable and keeping him busy while I was away.
James is always great. Presto really looks forward to going to his house -- he will run out of the car and stand with nose to door until he is let in. Can't think of a better recommendation.
Presto is always so happy when he knows I am taking him to James' house, he gets excited in the car when we turn off the main road. I know he will always be taken care of, and he will get lots of playtime and attention.

My neighborhood has a very large green belt which is perfect to take dogs for a run if it’s not too hot, I also have a good sized back yard with grass for some more play or lounge time and a living room and family room perfect for playing with some toys.
