Dog walking from a dog behaviorist
I am a dog behaviorist where I currently work with aggressive, or fearful dogs and their owners to rehabilitate dogs. Before that I worked at a school where I was a Service Dog Handler for a student. I also Volunteer with a large breed dog rescue called Gentle Giants in Wayne New Jersey for the last 7 years. I handled many dogs in many different setting like adoption days and in cars driving them to their new homes. I have experience handling dogs that were extremely stressed, including dogs rescued from a dog hoarder and a Saint Bernard that was flown to New Jersey from California. The types of special need dogs I have worked with include blind, deaf, behavior problems, and a few different disabilities in the form of trouble walking.

I am first day trained, and never leave dogs unattended in yards alone. As a dog behavior I can spot potential problems before they happen. I always put the safety of dogs and people first.

A typical day
I like to start with building basic trust with the dog going both ways so they comfortable. During the dog walk I gently set basic rules and make sure they have a fun time.
