Each day depends on your pet’s needs, but I always make time for walks, playtime, and lots of attention. I’ll stick closely to their routine, and if they love fetch, tug, or training games, I’m happy to keep them active and engaged. For mellow pets, I’m just as happy to relax and offer calm companionship.

I’ve been personally caring for both cats and dogs for over 3 years, in addition to volunteering at the SPCA. Through that work, I’ve gained experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments — from playful puppies to senior cats needing extra care. I’ve helped socialize nervous rescues, maintained routines for high-energy pets, and provided gentle support for older animals. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and the genuine connection I build with every pet. I treat them like family and always prioritize their comfort and trust.

This was our first time using Rover and James made the process seamless. From San Diego to Connecticut our minds were set at ease knowing our girl was in good hands.
James did great with our dogs! He came over and did a meet and greet first. He was very friendly and professional and you can tell he loves dogs. Our dogs can be difficult to handle because there are three of them and they can make a mess in the house. James handled it well and the house was clean when we got home and you could tell the dogs were well taken care of. He sent pictures while we were gone. We would definitely continue to use James as a dog sitter.
James is an incredibly responsible and caring pet sitter. For years, he watched my two elderly cats—making sure they got their medication—and also took great care of my poodle while I was out of town. He’s reliable, kind, and truly loves animals. I always felt at ease knowing my pets were in such good hands. Highly recommend!
