I miss my dog + Stanford student
I trained my own excited puppy for the first 3 years before moving away from the UK. Before then I walked multiple dogs every weekend, with consistent customers and was asked frequently to stay overnight, sometimes for multiple nights if they were away. I love running with dogs, so if you usually run with your dog then I can continue that while you are away. Experience with breeds including retrievers, spaniels, labradors, terriers, vizslas. Happy to work with loud or antisocial dogs.

I will only care for your dog(s) in your home, and, depending on the dog, I will play games with them, allow them to rest, or explore new areas. I will vary their walking routes to keep them engaged, allowing them to explore a little, and to keep them active.

James looked after our dog for a week and provided an excellent level of care that meant we had no worries at all in leaving our dog with him. We were provided with regular photos which helped the whole process and our dog seemed so happy. Due to the fact that James has a dog himself this helped enormously with his understanding. Would definitely recommend James to a friend if they were looking for a dog sitter.
James walked and looked after our dog Ellie over a couple of years. He was dependable and took very good care of our girl. He has a family dog so understands all their requirements. We always felt confident leaving her in his care. He is honest and intelligent and I don’t hesitate recommending his services.
James has a really natural way with animals. He’s affectionate and firm and somehow manages to bond and communicate with animals, dogs in particular. He’s perceptive, loyal, trustworthy and smart. I cannot think of a better person to look after your special friend.

Schedule
I will be free in the middle of the day to walk/relieve/feed dogs. Also sometimes free on the weekends for overnights and can do weekday nights on occasion too.
