Pet care experience
Choose peace of mind for yourself and your dogs
Growing up I was often surrounded by animals; hamsters, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, and even a gecko. With my dad being a vet, I’d occasionally find myself waiting in his staff room after school with the staff dogs, or helping with those being left for monitoring overnight. This affinity for animals has followed me well into adulthood, now working as a pet and wildlife photographer! Though my puppy experience is limited to my own and a few friends, adult and senior dogs are where my skills lie. Sadly a year ago I had to say goodbye to my 17 year-old border terrier, who was my whole world for a long time.

Ratings and reviews
Jamie was absolutely brilliant! We left Toby and our house in his care for six nights and I think the dog was disappointed when we arrived home!! We were updated daily with pictures and details from their numerous walks and adventures, and Jamie even took the time to sort an ant problem that cropped up while we were away! He did a pre stay visit to meet Toby and get to know the house, and left it immaculately clean after his stay. There was no doubt Toby had a wonderful time in his care and we came home to a very relaxed dog! He was super charming and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Thank you Jamie!

We are very happy to have found James ! Our dogs liked him straight away, he knows a lot about dogs and is very good with them Specially with our collie/lab which can get very scared at times , he managed her behaviour very well! He is very polite and respectful and very calm person which is just what dogs need , will definitely call him again , thanks James

James is the best pet caregiver my dogs could have had. He’s the most animal loving person I’ve ever met. He’s very patient and responsible and it shows when it comes to taking care of pets. His calmed attitude made my dogs comfortable around him in no time. I’d have him taking care of my dogs again without hesitation.
I have known James for just shy of 10 years and I have never found anyone else, that I personally, would allowed to take care of my pets. To speak of him as a person, I don’t believe there is someone that I feel more at ease and comfortable around. He is well mannered, polite and one of the most genuinely kind people I know. He will make sure to look after your babies as if they were his own. He has had pets from being very young, and knows what it takes to look after them (as he had a dog growing up). He is aware of all the demands a pet can have. from walking regularly to making sure they’re fed and watered adequately, but also knows that they need to be shown a lot of love. Highly recommend James as a walker/sitter.
Jamie provides a warm and welcoming feel. His calm presence will make anyone feel like home! Throughout the time I’ve known him, Jamie has delivered a safe space for myself and my beautiful boy, Paddy, the French Bulldog. He has shown great kindness, compassion and generosity towards animals, reflecting on his pet photography business, where you can clearly see with the pictures he has captured, just how happy pets and owners are! I have no doubt in my mind that Jamie will shine through this.
Jamie is easily one of the most trustworthy people when it comes to any animal, dogs especially. I have a Springer-Poodle cross, he is my absolute world, and Jamie perhaps the only person I would trust to look after him. I have seen him with friend's dogs and stranger's dogs, everytime he puts their comfort and care first. You could not go wrong with trusting Jamie with your dog as he will always put their safety and care at the forefront of his mind, beyond himself.

Schedule
Working as a photographer, my schedule is pretty flexible, with time most days for drop-ins/walks and with a few days notice I can cater to overnight stays. While I am flexible with work, I can have jobs come up at short notice which generally isn’t an issue as long as the dogs in my care are okay with being alone for a few hours (typically 2, but occasionally up to 3)
