Caring for your pets like my own
Having cared for my own pets, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’ll take the time to learn their personality and follow their usual routine, from meals and walks to playtime and quiet company. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a slower pace, I’ll give them attentive care and plenty of affection. I’ll also send photos and updates so you know how they’re doing while you’re away.

James is absolutely amazing with all three of our dogs! Our two younger dogs have so much fun playing with him, and even our picky little older Chihuahua absolutely loves him—which says a lot! 🐾❤️ James has watched our dogs many times while we’ve been away, and we always feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in his care. He is wonderful with each of them and treats them like his own. We can’t recommend James highly enough!

Schedule
I work from home running my own business, and I plan pet care around my work commitments. Before each booking, we’ll agree on a schedule that fits your pet’s routine, including meals, walks, bathroom breaks, and time for attention and play.

I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs before we begin. I’ll follow your care instructions, keep dogs leashed on walks, and check that doors and gates are secure. When visiting your home, I’ll respect your space and leave things as I found them. You’ll receive photos and updates, and I’ll contact you promptly with any concerns.
A typical day
I’ll plan our time around your pet’s usual routine and energy level. For dogs, that means walks with plenty of time to sniff, play with their favorite toys, and breaks to relax. For cats, I’ll offer playtime or quiet company and let them set the pace. I’ll follow your usual feeding schedule, keep water fresh, and stay on top of bathroom breaks and litter box care.

- Please share your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, allergies, medications, and any health or mobility concerns. I’d love to know their favorite activities, what helps them feel comfortable, and how they react to new people and other animals. Please mention any separation anxiety, escape attempts, or history of biting or guarding food and toys so we can make sure we’re a good fit. I’ll also ask for your vet’s details and an emergency contact.
