As of 8/2025: My business is insured by Pet Care Insurance (PCI) for your peace of mind. Nice to meet you! I’m Jamie and I’m a cat dad and vet student here at Virginia Tech. I have lifelong experience caring for animals - I grew up with five cats, two Guinea pigs, and four birds! Petsitting for my neighbor’s dogs was my very first job as a kid and I have been doing it for friends, family, and coworkers ever since. I have experience caring for elderly and disabled animals, those with particular feeding schedules or allergies, and am comfortable administering medications for your pets as needed. I have cared for everything from dogs and cats to ferrets, rabbits, and even chickens. Let’s connect so we can talk about your goals for your pets’ wellness and comfort when you’re away, and how I can help you achieve them.

James connected with my dog almost instantly and went above and beyond with her care. James helped us out when someone came to clean our apartment and Misha needed to be protected.
James was a great sitter for our dog, Teddy. He followed all of our care instructions, kept us updated with photos, and made sure Teddy had everything he needed while we were away. When we got home, Teddy was calm, relaxed, and settled right back into his routine. We’d be happy to book with James again.
