🐾 About Me Dogs are a huge part of my life, and over the past 5 years I’ve gained lots of hands-on experience through dog sitting and boarding dogs of all shapes, sizes and needs. I have experience with energetic puppies under 1 year old and older dogs with established routines and personalities. Feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and making sure every dog feels safe and comfortable away from home has become part of everyday life for me. I also grew up with a big, goofy Golden Retriever and helped raise a playful Cockapoo puppy during Covid, which gave me early experience with puppy care and training. Since then, dog boarding and sitting has become something I genuinely love, and I’m lucky to now have several regular pups I look after regularly.

I would highly recommend James if you are looking for a trustworthy person who will treat your dog as his own. I’ve had full confidence in his ability to look after my dog (especially that he is high energy breed). Upon collection Bruce looked healthy and happy after the week as he bonded with James. Definitely would reach out again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
James was great and took time to understand Hachi's needs and how everything should all work best for him. Hachi was happy upon pick up and we will hopefully see James again soon! Happy dog 🐕!

This is the third time I’ve left Teddy with James, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to look after him. From the moment we drop Teddy off, I know he’s in safe, loving hands. James is incredibly attentive, sends regular updates and photos, and makes sure Teddy gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Teddy always comes back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for – it’s obvious he feels completely at home with James. It’s such a relief to know I can travel without stressing, because James treats Teddy like family. I wholeheartedly recommend James to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after their dog. We’ll definitely be back again!

Schedule
I work mostly from home, so I can easily stick to your dog’s routine — walks, playtime, cuddles and naps. Please let me know if any special requirements ahead of time. I can let you know my experience with particular quirks and requirements of any pet to ensure you are happy for me to take care of them. My home is dog-friendly, safe, and clean, with a fenced garden and plenty of space to run, relax, or play. Whether your dog loves long walks, gentle play, or cozy naps, they’ll feel right at home.

💖 Your Dog’s Home Away from Home Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness come first. I treat every pup like my own, making sure they feel loved, secure, and well cared for.
A typical day
I take the dogs for walks around the park opposite my house, along the river to Sonning or sometimes to the chiltern hills. When at home I love to play in the garden with the dogs and rest on the sofa with them in an evening.
