Moraga Pet Oasis: space to run
We adore animals of all kinds. We have hardwood floors for accidents, and filtered water. We have a fenced yard for running around with our kids and potty, always allow indoor access, and we don’t leave your pet alone. James has volunteered at the Dog Shelter for years, has CPR/Rescue training(for humans) and an understanding of CPR and first aid for dogs. After many years of dog sitting, we've welcomed a variety of different dogs (around 50+ at last count) into our home. We have administered eye creams, injections, and many other medicines. We don't clip nails. We are happy to send pictures and videos and even facetime or video chat by request.

James and his children were attentive and engaged with our dog over her weekend stay. It was clear that they enjoy dogs. James clearly has experience with dog sitting and updated us with photos. Would definitely recommend, and will book with him again!
We had our dog, Athena, stay with James and family for a week and we couldn’t give him higher praise! From his communication, pictures and updates to his incredible property and backyard, we knew our dog was in great care. He arranged a meeting even before so Athena could check out where she would be staying and we got a sense of the care and love that he has for doing this. His children are kind and gentle and loved having our dog stay with them. James is open, communicative and compassionate and we are so grateful to have found him! The highest praise to James and his family and we will definitely be using his service again! Thanks for everything!
James and his family made little Trey's first visit away from home a very successful one. Trey can be a bit anxious about new surroundings and James and family listened intently to every concern and suggestion. Plus he responded quickly to my check-in mid week. I think Trey felt comfortable and well taken care of during this first adventure. I would highly recommend James to anyone seeking care for their pets.

We booked James to take care of our Australian Doodle puppy for a weekend. Charlie is 7 months old with lots of energy. James was a great fit! I really appreciate his promptness to respond, he had the perfect accommodations for Charlie, and scheduled a phone call to go over Charlie’s needs. I immediately felt comfortable after speaking with him. Charlie walked right into his home at drop off making himself right at home. Charlie couldn’t have been happier to meet James. We had peace of mind while on our trip. Charlie received lots of one on one attention, play, lovely long walks, and a soothing bath. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Charlie. We appreciate James very much. We could only hope he is available for future bookings.

James works from home, and we typically go for two walks a day so we are always happy to have a guest pet with us.

We have thoughtfully organized our home to avoid dangerous substances, escape issues, and to ensure maximum joy and safety! We would love to give you a tour during a meet and greet.
A typical day
We typically walk 3+ times a day depending on the dogs habits. If your dog will enjoy it, a run is always fun as well. Your dog is welcome on our bed, on a dog bed, or on a dog bed in another room depending on the owner's rules and dog's preferences.
