We are a Dog-Lovin' Household
We live next to the Arboretum in Madison Valley and love dogs and warmly welcome them as our guests, while their primary care peeps are away. Each pooch is unique and we try to accommodate their individuality. Old, young, small, big, dogs are great and just super-fun!

James and Jackie watched our dog for two weeks, and they were amazing! Our dog came home happy, healthy, and very well taken care of. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pup was in such good hands while we were away. Thank you both for taking such great care of our fur baby. We highly recommend James and Jackie to anyone looking for caring and reliable dog sitters. We’ll definitely use them again!

James and Jackie took great care of Yuma. They communicated well and sent us frequent updates and a lot of pictures. We had a peace of mind and knew that Yuma was in good hands while we were away for a week. Highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again!

Fabulous folks all around. We appreciated the communication & photos while on vacation. Thule seemed to have had a lovely time staying with Jackie & James. We were out of town for about an entire week. We booked with them about a month in advanced & had a little meet and great to ensure compatibility across the board. Grateful for these two. Will book again soon.

James and Jackie watched my ten year old terrier Jack overnight recently. From the moment I met them I felt at ease leaving my guy with them. Their vibe is relaxed and they were excellent communicators throughout the whole process. Their whole house is dog friendly, from the backyard to the furniture ;) I received several photos of Jack doing his normal thing (sleeping and looking out the window) during his stay and that only made me feel more secure about his stay with James and Jackie. I recommend them for your pup too!

Great stay! Easy to communicate and our dog was in great hands and he says he enjoyed his stay!

James and Jackie were great with Zeta. They are great to communicate with and made zeta feel at home.

Schedule
Jim works from home and he keeps weekday hours. Jim usually walks dog guests every morning before 7:30 am in the Arboretum. We then feed dog guests with breakfast and a treat, while we make coffee for the household and have a bit of breakfast for myself. Jim also gives dog guests a mid-day mini walk and then feed them once more around 6pm. Thereafter we enjoy each other's company for the rest of the evening, before we walk our dog guests once more before bedtime. We frequently have other dogs from around the Puget Sound stay with us when their primary caregivers are away, so its easy for us to accommodate another dog or two.
