Myself and my partner have extremely flexible jobs and there will usually be one of us in the house at all times as we work from home. We do go out with our kids on a weekend however this can be worked around the dogs routine. Free to walk the dog as needed throughout the day.

We have a fenced in garden with a mixture of grass and paving. Fully fenced with no way to get out. We have two 4 year olds but they love dogs and have been around dogs their whole life.

A typical day
We are happy to work around the dogs routine but we live very close to large open fields and parks with lots of places for walking. Happy to walk as many times as needed and they have full use of the back enclosed garden.

Pet care experience
Myself, my partner and our 2 four year old boys live in Wetherby and love animals. We have raised a French Bulldog (Milo) since he was a puppy however at the age of 9 he sadly passed away and so we are now looking to spread our love for dog to others. We both work from home all week and so have plenty of time to play, stroke and care for your dog. We have practice of sitting for family dogs and other families dogs ranging from small West Highland Terriors to Large Labradors and Lurchers. Our two 4 year olds love to pet all animals, especially dogs and are used to have dogs around. Ideally we would like to care for dogs who are also familiar with Children. We have a 3 story house with a fenced garden for the dog to explore and no way to escape or burry out of. We are also close to fields and walking paths in Wetherby where your dog will be able to get exercise.

My boy Arlo takes a while to warm to new people, but he seemed to trust James very quickly. It was one of the hottest days of the year and my high energy boy had a injury so had to be on lead and calm - not the easiest circumstances. In spite of this I felt very confident leaving him with James for the first time, he asked all the right questions about keeping Arlo happy and safe, he sent regular messages and photos of Arlo looking very happy and well loved. Many thanks, will book again.
