I can't recommend James enough as a dog walker. He's beyond kind, trustworthy, and amazing with my Saint Berdoodle Zuko. Zuko is a big boy who's particular about who he spends his time with, but he instantly fell in love with James. James clearly knows how to play/handle larger dogs, sometimes I wonder if Zuko is more happy to see him than me! He's been my go to person whenever I need someone to help out while I'm busy or away. Any dog would be lucky to have him be their dog walker.

I’m currently studying to go back to nursing school and working part-time from home. My schedule is very flexible and I don’t mind working with you to make the experience as easy as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, walks, playtime, and giving lots of attention based on each pet’s personality. I keep the home tidy, respect all instructions, and provide regular updates and photos so owners feel at ease. If caring for pets in my own home, I make sure they have a clean, safe space, plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection, and I separate pets if needed to ensure everyone is comfortable. My goal is always to treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel happy, secure, and loved.

A typical day
A typical day starts with morning potty breaks, feeding, and playtime or a walk to help dogs burn off energy. Throughout the day, I provide regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and attention through walks, backyard play, or indoor enrichment. Fresh water is always available, and meals and medications (if needed) are given on schedule. I keep living areas clean by washing bowls and picking up after the dogs. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and calm cuddle time before bedtime. I send updates and photos so owners know their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for, always sticking closely to their normal routine.
