I'm really lucky to work hybrid and flexibility 90% of my week. I am more than happy to work with parents to ensure that any alone time is minimal and that their dog has the best stay possible. I do have a small campervan which I like to take to the Lakes should owners want their pup to join me on Wainwright adventures and long walks out.

I'm are quite happy for visiting pups to sleep wherever they like but will always follow the instructions of their parents! I’d like to think that you are getting a quality service where your dog is treated as my own and will be taken on quality nature walks whilst in my care.

Information James H. would like to know about your pet
Any information you can provide would help us to provide an enjoyable stay for your pooch. Do they like the car? How is their recall? Do they walk on or off the lead? Where do they sleep at home? What are they like when left alone?
A typical day
A typical day lodgers day would starts off with a quick walk around the block before breakfast, then a chill before a lunchtime walk in the park. On an evening I like to mix up our walks, heading to the beach, river walks (via my favourite pub), visiting dog loving family or we might venture back into the park. At the weekend we love to explore! Getting amongst the trees, strolling through the meadows, getting caked in mud and all tired out. You can certainly expect to get your doggo back all walked out! During the Summer, James loves to take the dogs to the Lakes for a real adventure, bagging some Wainwrights along the way!

Pet care experience
Experienced dog‑lover returning to Rover after some time away. I previously cared for a Spaniel of my own and have years of hands‑on experience with energetic, affectionate breeds. I offer a calm home, long walks, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I’m reliable, communicative and always send regular updates so you know exactly how your dog is doing. Pet First Aid trained and confident with a range of temperaments — your dog will be in safe, caring hands.
Reviews

Simba has had another lovely day with James & Samantha. He is very well cared for there & has long walks, playtime and I got some great photos of him looking happy & content. Well recommended.

Simba had a lovely first day with James. He had a long walk, tasty treats and met a new doggy friend. I got some great photos which showed how comfortable he was and how well he settled in there. Very well recommended.

Really nice guy, grate communication thought out with pictures and updates. Tuck grate care of my little lady and had her feeling comfortable and loved. Wouldn’t define have him look after her again :)
James and Samantha were great with Bernie, and he had loads of fun playing with their dog, too. Plenty of updates came through, with pictures. I'd definitely use them again!
