I cannot recommend James highly enough as a dog sitter and walker. As a dog owner, finding someone you can trust with your pet is incredibly important, and James has consistently exceeded my expectations. My dog, Chewie, absolutely loves spending time with him. From the moment they met, it was clear that James genuinely cares about animals and treats them as if they were his own. Whether it's a daily walk, overnight care, or simply spending time with Chewie while I'm away, I have complete confidence that he is in safe and caring hands. What sets James apart is not only the quality of care he provides, but also the level of customer service. He is reliable, responsive, communicative, and proactive in providing updates, which gives me enormous peace of mind. I always know how Chewie is doing, and it's obvious from Chewie's excitement whenever he sees James that he feels comfortable, happy, and loved in his care. Beyond being an excellent dog sitter and walker, James is simply a great human being. He is kind, thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of both pets and their owners. Those qualities are hard to find and are a big part of why I trust him completely. If you're looking for someone in New York who will provide safe, loving, and dependable care for your dog, I would wholeheartedly recommend James. Any pet owner would be fortunate to have him looking after their furry family member.

James has looked after my mini golden doodle a few times and he’s great. Very reliable, loves dogs, gets them to exercise quite a lot and keeps them in a good routine. Highly recommend if you want peace of mind!

Starting to think Leo loves James more than he loves us. James has looked after Leo for years. Leo is a Lab Corgi mix with a lot of energy so he needs someone who will actually walk him properly and James always does. Walking, running, playing, boarding, he does all of it and sticks to the routine. Brings him back tired and happy every time. Turns up when he says he will and we trust him completely with ours. James loves dogs and dogs love James. Your dog will love him too.
