Since I was a child my family has had pets in the home. When I was 9 my sister and I collaborated to earn ourselves a kitten and since then pet care has been an important part of my life both the cuddly and the smelly. Most of my experience is with cats, I have one myself who is a total sweetheart once she gets comfortable. I’ve watched over and managed multiple cat households, senior cats, outdoor cats, and cats that have required oral medication. I also have experience watching over dogs, taking them out when needed, playing with them to help tire them out. I am comfortable walking dogs big and small, I am not professionally trained but know I can hold my own when needed.

I have experience house sitting so I understand that it’s often about more than just taking care of your pets but also ensuring that your home is safe and well kept. People I’ve sit for can attest that I do my best to ensure everything is in its place and to make the space at least as clean as it was originally.
Ratings and reviews
James is so caring to our two cats. One of them is skittish and doesn't usually take to new people but when James showed up the very first time he came right down the stairs to greet him. He is our other cat's favorite person bar none. James takes time to give them individual attention as well as play with them both. Though travel makes me very anxious, I take great comfort in knowing James is watching our boys. He is very good about giving them their daily medication as well which I'm so grateful for. I truly can't recommend James enough.
James has taken care of our Cattle Dog Ted ever since he was a puppy. Cattle dogs can take a while to warm up to people but he took to James right away. He is great at maintaining Ted's complex schedule and is both punctual and reliable. You can tell he is an animal person who really connects with our pet. So thankful to have found him!!

I’m currently between jobs so have plenty of time to care for your pets! Available all hours of the day and night, and I can be flexible with new jobs or cancellations.
