We have taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. Our personal pup, Cookie, made it to 18, so we’re comfortable administering medications if needed. We’ve watched dogs across Europe and the US. We’re just as comfortable out on a jog as we are lounging around on the couch. My wife and I work from home, so you can trust that your dog will be watched, loved, and taken care of as if it was our own. We’re also cat-friendly!

James and Emily have kept my doodle, Ruby several times over the last few years. She has lots of anxiety and gets very nervous around loud sounds and inanimate objects but I never worry about her with James and Emily. They hug her, comfort her with words and physical contact and treats, of course. They always walk her and spend lots of time with her when she’s with them. They let me know if she’s acting strange in any way or if there’s anything they noticed that I should be concerned about. I trust them a tremendous amount and I think anyone would be lucky to have them dog sitting for them.

Schedule
My wife and I work from home and are only gone at the same time for a short period to the gym. Otherwise, we split duties and are typically home or out on a walk together.

Safety, trust & environment
We are currently a pet-free home, which is why we’re offering our services here, as we love pets but also enjoy worry-free traveling when possible. We live in a two story house in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. We also have a small fenced in yard, but make no guarantees for escape artists. If we are in your home, we will treat it as if it’s our own. We are homeowners ourselves and always pride ourselves on leaving a space cleaner than we found it. We will defer to your judgement on how to best care for your pet.
A typical day
We love taking multiple long walks, including hikes, and the occasional run if needed. We’re also just as comfortable vegging out on the couch and adjusting our activity levels based on the pups that we’re watching.
