Jamie watched our cat Buddy for a couple weeks and was fantastic. He was reliable, always on schedule, so we never had to worry. He didn't just feed and go, he actually played with Buddy and sent photos throughout our trip so we could see how happy he was. No stress or hiding when we got home, which says a lot. He was respectful of our home and easy to communicate with the whole time. Whether you have a cat or a dog, I'd trust him completely. Highly recommend!

Argos had a great time with James overnight and I’m sure Argos is looking forward to his next visit. James made sure to ask a lot of questions beforehand about Argos’ needs and what would make him comfortable which was all very appreciated

Jamie is one of the most caring, pet loving people I have met on Rover. Our Bully/Boxer, Sahara, met Jamie when she was a puppy and is in love with him. She cannot get enough of Jamie every time she sees him and Jamie treats her so well, it’s beautiful to see. Jamie is responsible, punctual, and his rates are competitive. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a walker to pet sitter.

Jamie is absolutely wonderful with my dog, Mio! Caring, reliable, attentive, and trustworthy. Mio adores Jamie, and I always know he’s in the very best hands.

Jamie is an exceptional caregiver for our pup. He is kind, patient, dependable and Maddie is always excited to see him when he arrives for feeding and walk-time. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Jamie.

Schedule

Because I work from home as an independent consultant, pet care isn't an afterthought wedged between commutes—it is built naturally into the flow of my daily routine. My Routine & Availability Consistent Daytime Presence: Working from a home office means your pet has company, oversight, and companionship throughout the day, drastically reducing separation anxiety. Flexible Midday Breaks: My schedule allows me to easily step away for scheduled feedings, prompt potty breaks, midday walks, or a structured laser/feather playtime session for cats. Seamless Medication Timing: If your pet requires time-sensitive medication, meals, or senior mobility assistance, my desk-side presence ensures nothing is delayed or missed. Adaptable Workflows: I manage my own client calendar, giving me the flexibility to adapt my day to your pet’s specific schedule rather than forcing them into mine. Your pet gets the run of a calm, monitored environment with plenty of check-ins, affection, and routine, while you get total reliability during work hours or travel.

Safety, trust & environment

In My Home (Boarding & Daycare) Pet-Proofed & Calm Environment: My home is fully pet-proofed with clear boundaries, secure entryways, and zero access to hazardous items, human foods, or loose cords. Low-Stress Territory: Pets have dedicated cozy resting spaces away from excessive noise. If multiple pets are ever present, they are separated during feeding times and given plenty of space to decompress. Constant Supervision: Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for extended periods. Outdoor/balcony access and doorways are strictly monitored with double-check protocols. In Your Home (House Sitting & Drop-Ins) Preserving Familiar Routines: I treat your home with total respect and keep your pet on their exact schedule—sleeping spots, feeding times, favorite walking routes, and litter/potty locations remain completely consistent. Home Security & Discretion: Doors and gates are locked securely behind every entry and exit. I bring in mail, rotate lights, and maintain a quiet, tidy presence so your home stays safe and lived-in. Stress-Free In-Home Care: For cats and anxious dogs who thrive best in their own territory, I focus on gentle, quiet companionship, clean litter boxes, fresh water daily, and play on their terms. Safety, Emergencies & Trust Protocols Secure Handling Outdoors: Dogs are always leashed with double-checked clips, collars, or harnesses before stepping foot outside. I avoid dog parks and high-risk interactions with unfamiliar off-leash animals. Emergency Preparedness: Before any booking begins, I collect your primary vet details, emergency contact info, and local 24-hour emergency animal hospital preferences. Complete Transparency: You receive prompt, detailed updates and clear photos every day so you know exactly how your pet is eating, playing, and resting.
