Pet Care Experience & What Sets Me Apart I have a lifetime of hands-on experience as a pet owner and caregiver. My two white Pitt-mixes, ages 9 and 7, have given me a deep understanding of raising dogs from puppyhood through their senior years. I'm set apart by my ability to connect with animals of all temperaments. I have a solid grasp of dog behavior, honed by training one of my own dogs and patiently working with another to overcome social anxieties. This experience allows me to build trust and confidently manage a wide variety of personalities. For over 17 years, I've provided both short and long-term care for numerous German Shepherd mixes, so I'm comfortable with large, high-energy breeds. More recently, I regularly helped a friend with their foster dogs, acting as a dog walker, playmate, and emergency contact. I'm also reliable with cats and have routinely cared for my neighbor's cat, including feeding, refreshing water, and daily litter box scooping. I offer a professional and consistent approach to pet care. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet by ensuring their specific needs are met with attention and care.

I've had a fantastic experience with Jamie! He has always been very professional and responsive, and is clearly passionate about animals. He has helped us care for several dogs throughout our fostering journey and has taken the time to get to know our dogs, asked all the right questions, and made us feel completely at ease leaving our pet in their care. Throughout the stay/walks/visits, Jamie sent regular updates, photos, and notes that gave us peace of mind and a few good laughs, too. It was obvious our pups was happy, well cared for, and enjoying every moment. Coming home to a calm, content pet was the best feeling. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust, and we’ll absolutely be booking with Jamie again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for loving, reliable pet care!
Jamie is a dog-lover at his core. He’s rescued 3 pit bulls of his own and is always willing to play with and take care of the 3 mixed rescues in my family! He’s responsible and passionate and I highly recommend!
Jamie is an amazing guy with a big heart, which really shines in his love for animals. He treats everyone's pets like his own - even stopping his whole day to make sure a lost dog finds their home. I'd trust him with my life, so I don't have a single doubt in trusting him with my pets.
Jamie is great with dogs! Mine now waits by the door like he’s hoping I’ll leave just so Jamie shows up. He’s reliable, easy to work with, and clearly knows what he’s doing. The photo updates were nice… though I’m starting to think my dog looks happier in those pictures than he does with me. If you need someone trustworthy who your dog will instantly love (and maybe love more than you), Jamie’s your guy.

Schedule
Weekends I am flexible enough to assist with pet care. Likewise, on Wednesdays I WFH, which allows me some flexibility to help with mid-day walks and bathroom breaks.
