It’s helpful to know if your pet can be left alone outside of a crate, if they come when called, and any sleeping preferences they have. We’re very adaptable and easygoing, and I’m happy to discuss all the details with you ahead of time to make sure your pet feels right at home.
A typical day
We go on daily walks, sometimes a trip to the Shawnee Mission off-leash park for extra fun and exercise. We might stop by Starbucks for a pup cup. At home, dogs have uninterrupted access to our fenced backyard and plenty of time for play, cuddles, and relaxation.

We've cared for dogs of all sizes our entire lives, from energetic Labs to tiny Poms. I’ve also raised cats and chickens, so I'm comfortable with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I treat every pet like family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for in my home.

James was easy to work with! We were a last minute booking and he was very accommodating. Sent an update pic of our dog which eased our minds of our dog having a good time! Would definitely recommend him!
I got help from Jimmy with less than 24 hours notice because my family was thrown a wrench in our planning. He accepted my plea immediately and asked what else he could do to help. I offered to bring my crate to his house for the overnight stay but he said he already has a crate we can use. My young, extroverted dog took about 15 seconds to connect with his dog. Jimmy sent me a few videos for the overnight stay and it seems like our dogs wrestled the entire stay
We couldn't have asked for better dog sitters than James and Amanda. They did an awesome job with our pup Mila. They have watched her multiple times, from just a day or two, to five days. She was happy, relaxed and loved the attention they gave her. They always send us multiple updates and fun pictures of her. It gave us great piece of mind knowing she is in great hands. We will definitely be asking them to help again in the future.
