Dog Lover
I grew up having medium-to-large sized golden retrievers (sometimes 3 at once) around the house so I’ve become comfortable caring for dogs and love being around them. I have also cared for dogs of family members and friends spanning across various breeds. I enjoy taking dogs on walks to the parks or around the neighborhood, as well as simply playing in or around the house. My priority is being able to give care tailored to your pet’s routine — daily walks, playtime, and plenty of attention!

James is great! Truly takes the time to care for our puppy. He provided great detailed rover cards with lots of photos. He even braved walking up and down the big SF hills so Bonnie could have plenty running space! You’re the best, thanks !!

Schedule
I’m currently in between full-time jobs so I have plenty of time during the weekdays and weeknights (and some weekends) to walk, exercise, give attention to and care for pets. I try to keep my calendar updated for each week, so feel free to take a look and see if scheduling aligns!

Safety, trust & environment
For pet-sitting in your home, I first and foremost will respect your space and follow any/all instructions you provide. I also find it important to maintain routine and stick to your pets daily schedule (walks, feeding, outdoor play time, etc.). In my experiences, I've also been mindful of cleaning & tidying including making sure water bowls are refreshed, spaces stay neat and toys are back in place. Please let me know if there are any preferences! I also have a spacious apartment to care for your pet during the day, although it is located on the fourth story of a walk up building.
A typical day
Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I make sure each time is filled with attention, love and lots of fun! I enjoy taking dogs on walks through the neighborhood or to a nearby park for exercise and playing fetch (for more energetic dogs). I am happy to bring toys for the dog to fetch, if wanted.
