Trusted, Professional Dog Sitting You Can Rely On
Always had dogs in our lives. I started off training our family lab at 15 years of age. Trained to a good standard, good recall, no lead needed as heel was impeccable. Next was mine and my wife's little jack russel who people said you can't train that breed, well I proved them wrong. Recall was top notch, waited for food at every meal/obident/loyal. Onto our belgian malinois, fully trained by myself and my wife. Impeccable recall/heel/obedience/tricks, great with people and other dogs. I am willing to help train/advise on younger dogs in areas that they struggle in. Both our dogs have grown up around other dogs and horses.

Ratings and reviews
Would definitely recommend James as a sitter. He sent videos and pics every day. Kuro seemed happy and settled when we went to pick him up.
Bee had a great time with James and we felt reassured that she was with someone who was really good with dogs and would give her the best care. Really appreciated the photos and little updates whilst we were away.

James did an excellent job of looking after Barney.

Lilah was very well looked after by James and settled in quickly owing to his clear competence. I am impressed by anyone able to manage a needy Weimaraner and he did not disappoint. We wholeheartedly recommend him and will definitely be asking him to look after our dog in the future.

James was absolutely fantastic while looking after my dog while I was on holiday. From the very start, he was reliable, professional, and clearly a genuine dog lover. He kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease, and my dog clearly adored him. When I came home, my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for — the perfect sign that James had given him plenty of love and attention. I can’t recommend James enough. I’ll definitely be booking him again for future trips.

James was excellent looking after Black Lab Betsy, kept me updated, will def use again.

A typical day
A typical day of exercising a dog includes a morning walk of 30 minutes to burn energy and stimulate the mind, often paired with basic training or puzzle toys. Around midday, a shorter walk or garden play session helps break up the day, followed by rest. In the afternoon, mental enrichment like treat puzzles or scent games keeps the dog engaged indoors. An evening walk provides a final chance to explore and unwind, followed by light play or cuddle time to relax before bed. The routine is adjusted based on the dog’s age, breed, and energy level to ensure a healthy balance of activity and rest.
