I’ve had dogs in my family home since birth, taking responsibility for walking, feeding, playing & clearing up after them! As a family we’ve also dog sat for family members multiple times during holidays over the past few years. I have a four year old son who is especially fond of dogs & eager to have some furry friends come & stay with us :-)

James and Alice took such wonderful care of Milo and truly treated him like part of their family. Milo clearly felt comfortable with them and happily joined in playing, which was lovely to see. Usually, when I pick Milo up from boarding, he’s jumping around and eager to leave. This time, he took his time coming out—he seemed in no hurry to say goodbye! That says so much about the love and care they gave him. Their genuine love for animals shines through, and it feels like caring for dogs is a passion for them. I wholeheartedly recommend James and Alice. Thank you both for making Milo feel so at home!
James, together with Alice his wife and 5 year old son has looked after our 9 year old Cockapoo, Ruby while we were away on holiday for 12 days. She settled into the household really well and enjoyed walks in the nearby forest that is within walking distance from the house. Both James and Alice work from home nearly all of the time so there was always someone in the house to keep Ruby company. James grew up with a pet dog always in the family so has many years of interaction with dogs. In my opinion he would take very good care of any dog that he looked after.

Schedule
I currently work from home majority of the week, but live only 10 mins drive from the office. My wife also works for home most of the week, so there is rarely a day no one is at home. We also walk our son to nursery & like to get out at lunch for a stroll so plenty of opportunities for walkies & playtime!

We have a family home with good sized garden, currently occupied by our small tortoise. I’m sure she’ll be happy to share ;-) We have a four year old son who is very eager to have a dog of his own & has loved pet sitting for family members over the past few years.
A typical day
We live a stones throw from a lovely forest area that is great for walking dogs. We’re on a new build estate with lots of furry friends to meet with & always happy to supply a puppucino at the local cafe!
