Hi there! My name is Jamaura, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently a student at the University of Florida majoring in Animal Sciences on the pre-veterinary track. I’m deeply passionate about animal welfare and plan on becoming a wildlife veterinarian in the future! Over the past eight years, I’ve cared for dogs belonging to family, friends, and neighbors, as well as my own pets throughout childhood. In every situation, I prioritize each pet’s comfort, routine, and happiness, treating every furry friend like they’re my own. I make sure dogs get the exercise, playtime, and affection they need, while maintaining clean feeding areas, following meal schedules, and creating a calm, structured environment. I’m also comfortable administering medications and managing more complex feeding routines when needed. I love bonding with dogs and my goal is always to provide a positive, stress-free experience that leaves both pets and owners feeling at ease.

Schedule
I'm currently enrolled in some summer courses, so I am occupied Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 am - 6 pm, and on Thursday mornings. However, please feel free to ask if I can care for your pets during those days. Whether it's a last-minute walk, daily check-ins, or extended care, I'm here to provide the most consistent, loving, and flexible care for your pets!

- To provide the best care possible, please let me know about your pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs. Information regarding their feeding schedule, dietary preferences, and medical requirements, such as medications or allergies, helps me to maintain their comfort and health. Understanding their daily routine, such as their preferred toys or activities, and any special instructions or comfort items, ensures they feel secure and content when their owner is absent. Additionally, knowledge of their temperament, whether they are shy, energetic, or exhibit behavioral quirks, allows me to customize my care accordingly. Having emergency contact information on hand also helps me respond quickly and confidently should any unexpected situations arise. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members :)
