As a former pet owner, I know the concerns you may have with trusting your fur baby with someone. I assure you that I am reliable and confident that I have the ability to care and love for your fur baby. Since I am working from home I am able to keep a close eye on your fur baby to make sure they are not left unattended for long periods of time. I also can ensure photos/videos to keep you updated. In addition, I live in a home with a backyard with walking access to a park and a short driving distance from a dog park (if needed). My backyard does have an un fenced pool but your dog will not be left unattended in the backyard.

Information Jalesia D. would like to know about your pet
When booking please share a couple details about your fur baby’s personality and temperament. For example; he may be a puller during walks but please refrain from giving him too much slack in leash. For boarding/sitting, please share any routine schedules like feeding, medication and exercise. I also ask that your pet is up to date on immunization and is actively taking a flea control medication. For any service, I ask that you provide your own leash and collar for walks. My supplies include: large dog bed, blanket, small dog stroller, doggy bags for waste and dog brush. Please share if you will need any of my supplies or if you will be providing your own.
A typical day
A typical day can include either (2) 15 mins or (1) 30 min walk around the neighborhood on paved sidewalks. There will be some time for backyard running around with a ball/toy. Inside the house relaxation, naps and tummy rubs. I will try my best to accommodate to their normal routine at home. But they will have 1-on-1 attention since I do not have any pets at home.

🕊️🐶: I created this account to honor my sweet Brooklyn, who passed away a couple weeks shy of her 14th birthday. Brooklyn was a full breed Yorkshire Terrier. During her years of life, I have experience administering pills, liquid oral medication and eye drops. Brooklyn lived a full life with weekly walks and at her older age we purchased a stroller so we can enjoy our last months with her. She passed away in August 2023 and a piece of my heart has been missing. I am not ready to replace her just yet but I would like to spend some time caring for someone else’s fur baby. 💁🏾♀️: I am in my mid 30’s and educated with my Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree. I always grew up around animals (dogs, cats, fish, bearded dragon, birds and turtles) and lived a couple years in Mississippi around goats, horses, and chickens. I have also volunteered at the Long Beach Animal Care Services for a 2 years.

Jalesia was absolutely amazing! She was so loving and caring to our fur baby. She kept us up to date multiple times a day with video and pictures. We had a family emergency causing us to go out of town last minute and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help put our family at easy allowing us to focus more important matters.
Jalesia's personality is the right fit to work with animals, especially dogs and cats. She has a natural and nurturing relationship with pets. Having raised three kids who loved all kinds of pets, our home has been referred to as a "family zoo"! Jalesia has taken care of our pets on many occasions, especially our dogs. We have two small dogs and one large dog. She knows how to use the right combination of affection and discipline towards our dogs. We have nothing but compliments on how Jalesia has treated our dogs.
Jalesia is an all around great person! I have watched her around her own dog and she helps to take great care of him. I also own a dog who can be skittish at times but she quickly warmed up to Jalesia when they were first introduced to each other. I would trust Jalesia to take care of my dog with no worries at all! She is a very responsible, caring, and compassionate person who pays great attention to detail. Which is important when it comes to taking care of animals and knowing their specific needs.
