I currently work full time at a coffee shop in Belmar at an upmost of 8 hours a shift. For overnight stays I work best with animals that free roam during the day that I can walk and play with before or after work and spend the night with. :) Some of my shifts are only 4 hours though so it’s not an everyday thing.

When I am coming to your home I will take the time to understand your dogs routine and needs so that I can best give you pet familiarity while you are away. I believe sticking to a dog’s routine is so important to keep them feeling safe and well cared for when the owner is not present. The same would go for cats as well as. When animals routines are disturbed in my experience that leaves room for torn up furniture of excessive barking, unusual peeing on floor, etc. I believe when in doubt it’s always best to contact the owner right away to ensure the best solution is found to help your pet get back on track.

Detailed routines are super helpful as well and any major do’s and don’ts. Any time constraints are important to know and if I board at your also I typically ask if my fiancé can stay the night as well as we live together and prefer to be together if possible.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and stimulate play time! Say we pass by Starbucks on our walk, best believe I give them a pup cup if allowed! If weather permits and with permission I may take them on hike or to a dog friendly area. For cats if they like affection I’ll be sure to give them cuddling time and stimulate play time with whatever is a there favorite toy.

I currently care for a 8 year old Japanese Akita with my husband. I am well versed and experienced with several breeds and sizes of dogs. If your pet is more intimidating and rougher around the edges know that if you book with me I have had experience with pets like that before and won’t be a problem to help you with your pet. I take a lot of pride caring for your fur baby as I know the feeling having to leave mine with a sitter and want the best for my own. I have volunteered with breeders and have fostered a dog before. I have even worked on farms with farm trained pets or just cared for barn cats. Here are the following breeds I have owned over the year as personally my own: • Japanese Akita • Black Lab • Yellow Lab • Mixed Lab Rescue • English Bulldog (Fostered) • Japanese Bobtail • American Shorthair • Mixed Cat Rescue * I work 8 hours shifts at a coffee shop during the week.
