Iv grown up around dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments, giving me strong understanding of how different dogs behave and what they need to feel comfortable and settled. iv also previously worked with large protection dogs, so I'm confident and experienced when it comes to handling larger, stronger and more challenging dogs. I'm comfortable caring for and handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, while always taking the time to understand their individual personality and needs. I have my own Beagle at home who is friendly well-socialised and used to having other dogs stay in the home. i understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe and relaxed in a new environment, and i aim to provide a calm, secure and enjoyable home from home experience for every dog in my care.

Jake has taken care of my now 6-year-old Belgian Malinois on many occasions. As you’d expect with this breed, a caregiver needs to be knowledgeable, confident and capable, and Jake has all of these qualities in abundance. It’s clear that my dog enjoys the time he spends with Jake, and we’ve never had any problems whatsoever. We always feel completely comfortable and confident leaving him in Jake’s care, knowing that he’s in safe and capable hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jake to anyone looking for someone they can genuinely trust with their dog.
Jake was absolutely fantastic with our dog. He had lots of patience and was very good at training him also. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Jake again, it was the most relaxing holiday we ever had because we knew our dog was in great hands. He also sent us lots of pictures and videos. I highly recommend him.

Schedule
I'm currently working full time mon-friday. I am available for all dog sitting, walking and visits Friday (6pm) evenings to Monday morning (6am).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden area for myself and my beagle, with availability to a larger garden with shared access with another dog, but they can be kept separate. I'm willing and able to take your dog(s) on walks locally and also short journeys in the car for more adventures. I have the facilities to keep your dog(s) and mine apart if need/requested.
