Jake looked after our little long-haired Chihuahua for two nights while we got married, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier. 🤍🐾 Knowing he was being so well looked after meant we could completely relax and enjoy our wedding without worrying about him. Jake was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Before the booking, he invited us to visit with our dog, Link, so he could get used to the environment, which really put our minds at ease. On our wedding day, Jake kept us updated with regular photos and messages, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our special day knowing Link was happy, settled and in such safe hands. It was clear how much care and attention Jake gave him, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jake was amazing with my dog lenny, he stayed at my house (my request which jake kindly accepted) for 6 nights. Jake sent regular updates, pictures and videos everyday and lenny had a blast!! I would not hesitate to use jake again.
Jake is a great lad who accommodates very well for your dogs individual needs. Great location for walks and really makes sure he is keeping in touch during the stay. Thanks again and would definitely recommend to others.

Schedule
I am an online English as Second Language Teacher who works from home Monday-Saturday. I make sure to give myself at least a one hour break throughout the day which will give me time to give your furry friends care and attention. I also live a stone's throw from Saltwell Park so going for midday and evening walks will not be a problem! Please note I am unable to do drops off/pick ups on Mondays 16:30-20:00 Tuesdays 17:30- 21:30 Thursdays 17:30-21:30 Any other days/times around these are fine (including after 21:30)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a walled yard with fake grass and some plants which pets are welcome to use. They are also able to go on the sofas and sleep on the bed if they wish. Plenty of fuss and attention, as well as daily walks, are guaranteed. I have a stairgate installed in my kitchen which also blocks off the only steps in my house if your dog has any trouble with stairs. You are, of course, welcome to message me anytime (here or on WhatsApp/text) and I am also happy to call or even videochat if you want to see you dog whilst you're away! I will send regular updates to let you know how everything is going! I also have my own set of flexi-leads, dog food and water bowls and poo bags but I am happy to use the owner's equipment if preferred. The only things that I would need are food, treats, medications, baskets and perhaps some toys as well as a litter tray and litter for cats. I am also trained in dog first-aid (please see certificate in photos).
A typical day
Plenty of love and attention, at least one walk a day for dogs, treats and meals based on owners' preferences, time spent together in the evenings; all the good stuff!

- VERY IMPORTANT: I also do Airbnb in my home and regulary have guests stay. Should a guest be here your dog will never be left alone without my supervision. I leave it to the guests to decide if they want dogs in their rooms but other than they the dogs have the run of the house and garden. If I need to go out and I will always take your dog if possible. If I can't I will leave them safely in my room (which is locked) with food and water if there is a guest, if there is no guest they will have the whole house. They will never be left alone for more than 4 hours. Please let me know any special needs your pets may have (specific feeding times, medications etc.) and any other information you feel may be necessary for me to know (body language to watch for, do they like to be picked up or not, do they get along with other dogs etc.) I live in a ground floor maisonette (please see photographs). There is a front gate plus the door to get into the house. The back door is always locked unless I go into the yard. In the backyard there is a wooden door which is padlocked at all times, apart from when I put my bins out (on Thursdays), so your pets will be very secure.
