I am a life long dog lover. I grew up with dogs of my own along with other pets. I was a pet sitter throughout middle and high school for neighbors and family friends and have always been that friend who gets asked to watch my friends’ dogs when they are away because I truly adore their dogs and beg them to always ask me first. I have owned large and small dogs and have experience with dogs of all breed, temperament and personality. I am patient when needed and full of energy when needed as well. I can adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I can’t wait to be your dog’s new best friend.

I will protect and care for your dog as if they were my own. As a dog parent myself I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your best friend. I pay very close attention to each owners instructions and ask a lot of questions to make sure I know how best to care for them and keep them safe. I avoid bringing them around other dogs when on walks and prefer to limit other human interactions unless your dog enjoys these things. In all situations though I am constantly assessing the risks and putting their health and safety above everything.

Jake was super responsive and accommodated a last minute schedule change very graciously. My dog Mateo immediately loved him.
Jake was friendly, candled my German shepherd puppy well, was on time, and very open to owners preferences. Will be hiring Jake again!
Could your own dog ever love anyone else as much as you? The answer is YES! My basset hound, Melody, simply adores Jake. Whenever she gets to see him, she loses her mind with kisses and wags. But Jake knows how to handle her excitement with gentleness and expertise. He is such a dog person, and I would trust my Melody with him anytime.
Jake is a true animal lover. He’s had dogs of his own and also has cared for mine as well. Any dog would be lucky to have him around because your dog will feel safe and loved! Definitely recommend for dog watching, walking, and anything else your pet needs.

Schedule
I am self employed and all of my work is done remotely so I am flexible to be able to spend multiple hours with your dog while you’re away or sit and work on my laptop just to be around them if they just like company. I am easily able to make it to your home to pick them up and walk them or to sit them multiple times a day.
