I am free to look after dogs absolutely whenever, I have left full time employment to look after our furry friends full time so my schedule is completely open!

My care will vary depending on the owner's requests but as it stands in my ground floor flat I do have a garden for morning and before bed wees/poos but during the day I'll take them out (always on lead) to the park, or somewhere a bit more fun like Richmond Park or Hampstead Heath. The dogs will have access to the whole flat except the kitchen which has a doggy gate and is only used for dinner time where everyone gets fed one at a time. For off lead play we have a secure dog park nearby for them to let loose and zoom around :)

Any dietary requirements, how much and when to feed, their usual toilet habits and any key words associated with them I.e. “go wee wee” ect. Any medication they need too, and allergies, temperaments (do they get on with bigger dogs, smaller dogs ect so I know whether to avoid in the park).
A typical day
We’ll take lovely fun filled walks across the parks of London and may venture out further to explore different places, I use a long lead to play fetch if the dog is interested and at home I play hide the treat or use a puzzle box to keep their brains busy, or I get out the box of toys which is getting bigger by the day haha

Pet care experience
As a child we had a dozen dogs, several cats, rabbits, birds and the rest of the zoo in our household so I'm very experienced with a variety of animals, especially dogs. I got my first dog own dog at the age of 16 and she was a German Shepard named Kie who lived to the age of 14, and since then I've now got a 6 year old Yorkie named Flynn who is my world. My professional experience stretches back 8 years, I worked as a manager in a reputable day care for several years where we had all breeds, from tiny Pekinese to Great Danes. During my time there I learnt a variety of skills, medicine administration, nail trimming, how to train dogs to walk to heel, lay down ect (I'm a fully qualified and certified dog trainer). I eventually left that position to come to a smaller day care that I’ve recently left, I worked there to get more one to one time with the dogs, yet through it all I wanted to spend even more time with our furry friends hence starting Rover and pursuing this as a full time dream myself :) 🐶❤️🐾 (Ps, planning on updating it soon now I’ll be going full time but check out hylands_hounds on insta for photos, qualifications ect 🐶)

Our dog boarded with Jake for two weeks while we were away, soon we were looking forward to our daily updates with huge excitement as Jake took Jed and his new friends on lovely walks. He has returned from his stay happy and relaxed, we couldn’t have wished for more, thank you Jake.
